Ingredients
2 cups rice
1 onion
1 red pepper.
Vegetable oil.
1 teaspoon cumin.
Tomato paste.
Salt.
Cooking Instructions
Wash rice well under running water and drain.
In a medium pan heat oil.
Add onion, red pepper and stir until onion become golden brown.
Add rice and stir.
Add cumin, salt and stir well.
Add tomato paste, 2 1/2 cups water and continue stirring. Bring to boil.
When water is almost absorbed cover the panand move to low heat.
Leave for half an hour or until rice is tender.
Serve in platter while hot.
