This is a combination of rice and meat.
Preparation Time: 2 hours
2 cups rice.
1/2 kg meat cubes
1 tablespoon margarine or ghee.
2 bay leaves.
2 cups milk.
Salt and pepper.
In a deep pan, put water and bring to boil.
Wash meat well then add to pan with onion, cardamoms, bay leaves.
Leave until meat is done.
Add salt and pepper then take meat out of broth.
Strain and reserve meat broth.
Wash rice and drain.
Arrange meat cubes in the bottom of a baking dish.
Add rice over meat then pour broth over rice, then pour milk.
Heat oven and cover dish, put in oven and leave for half an hour until rice absorbs most of the broth and milk.
Remove cover and open broiller, broil rice until surface becomes golden brown.
Serve while hot in same dish.
