Kofta Dawood Basha كفتة داوود باشا

This dish is named after Dawood Basha.

Servings: 5

Preparation Time: 1.5 hours

Ingredients

1/2 kg minced meat.
2 onions.
4 tomatoes.
1 tablespoon omato paste.
Vegetable oil
Spices
Cinnamon
Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

Mix onion with salt, pepper, all spices, and cinnamon.
Make minced meat into small balls.
In a non-stick pan, heat oil over medium heat.
Stir and fry meatballs in oil on all sides.
Take off heat and set aside.
Blend tomatoes in a blender with water.
Dissolve tomato paste in a cup of water.
Fry onions till golden brown.
Add blended tomatoes and tomato paste, salt and pepper.
Add the meatballs and leave to cook.
Heat oil over medium heat, add crushed garlic until golden.
Pour oil and garlic immediately into tomato sauce with meatballs.
Serve right away.
