Zucchini with bechamel كوسة بالبشامل


Slice the zucchini before making this dish. You can do that lengthwise or in rings.

Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 2 hours


1 1/2 kg zucchini.
Vegetable oil.
Salt and pepper.
3 tablespoons flour.
1/2 kg minced meat.

Cooking Instructions
Preparing bechamel

In a saucepan melt butter, add flour. Stir constantly.
Add milk gradually and whisk until sauce is smooth.
Add salt and pepper then leave to boil.
Take off heat and set aside.

Preparing meat and zucchini

In a pan heat oil over medium heat add onion and stir until yellow.
Add minced meat, salt and pepper and mix well.
In a pan heat oil Stir in an other onion until yellow.
Add zucchini. Cover pan and leave to cook until semi tender.
In a baking dish add half the quantity of zucchini and add miced meat over zucchini then add whats left of zucchini.
Spread bechamel to the dish.
Put in oven until surface is golden brown.
Serve while hot in the same dish.
