Shawerma is originally a Turkish "street" dish .
This is a home version that does not need the rotating grill.
Preparation Time: 1.5 hours
1 kg chicken boneless.
2 green peppers.
1 red pepper
1 pack chicken marinade.
Salt and pepper.
Wash and cut chicken into strips.
Marinate chicken with chopped onion, marinade mix, chili pepper, salt and pepper.
In a wok heat and stir oil and chicken over high heat until golden brown.
Cut and mix onions into strips with peppers, tomatoes and parsley and set aside.
Just before serving add vegetables to chicken, heat and stir for a couple of minutes.
Serve hot with rice, pasta or bread.
