Baked chicken with potato and bechamel صينية فراخ بالبطاطس و البشامل

Notes:
This dish is a complete meal. Just add salad and you are done.

Servings: 5

Preparation Time: 1 hours

Ingredients:

1 chicken .
3 potatoes.
Parsley.
1 tablespoon thyme.
2 tablespoons butter.
2 tablespoons flour.
3 cups milk.
Salt and pepper.

Cooking Instructions

In a deep pan boil potato slices in water until semi-tender.
Boil chicken and remove skins and bones.
Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
Melt butter over medium-high heat and add flour, stir until smooth then add milk, salt and pepper whisking frequently until bechamel boils.
Add parsley and thyme and stir. Take off heat and set aside.
Heat oven, mix potatoes with chicken pieces in a baking dish then pour bechamel over dish and place in oven until surface becomes golden brown.
Serve immediately in same dish while hot.
