Belila is a popular desert in Egypt. It is also used as a breakfast, much like porridge in England.
Preparation Time: 6 hours
2 cups wheat
4 tablespoons sugar
Wash wheat and put in deep pan, pour water till it covers 3/4 of the pan.
Cook on minimum for 6 hours until it becomes tender.
Sweeten with sugar and serve.
Optionally add milk, sprinkle some cinnamon and coconut on top.
