Cheese omelet اوملت بالجبنة

Notes:

This is a European dish that made its way to Egyptian cities. Romano cheese is very popular in Egypt and known as Roumy (Roman) or Torki (Turkish) cheese.

Servings: 3

Preparation Time: 0.25 hours

Ingredients

7 eggs.
2 tablespoons ghee or butter.
1/2 cup cheddar cheese or Romano cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper.

Cooking Instructions

In a bowl beat eggs then add cheddar or Romano cheese and stir.
Heat butter over medium heat in a skillet then add eggs and cheese mixture.
Cook until the bottom of eggs is golden.
Flip the eggs to cook the other side.
Move to a serving platter and sprinkle salt and pepper on the surface.
Serve immediately while hot.
